When we first meet Kagura in both the anime and manga, she's shyly watching Shigure's house from behind the gate.
She meets Tohru at the door and asks if Kyo is around.
When she's brought inside, Shigure and Yuki are surprised to see her, while Kyo is utterly terrified.
Now, why would Kyo, the one who trained in the mountains for months and never backs down from any fight,
be so unnerved as to shake in his boots at the sight of Kagura, a simple girl as his age?
Moved to tears by seeing Kyo, at first Kagura can only emotionally mutter his name. Then her eyes gleam evilly, and as she shrieks, "I wanted to see you!!" she punches Kyo so hard he flies across the room and crashes through the door. Yuki and Shigure, being used to Kagura's temper tantrums, casually duck as Kyo flies over them and Kagura follows, leaping across the room. Tohru is completely shocked by the sudden surge of violence from what seemed like such a sweet girl.
Kagura Sohma. She's 18 Kagura and is the boar of the zodiac. She has been dedicated in her love for Kyo since they were young. She is convinced that she will marry him, mainly because she threatened Kyo into proposing to her.
Despite her love, she often loses her head and beats Kyo senseless whenever he does something to anger her or make her anxious. As one of the three female members of the zodiac, she is able to hug any of the male members without any transformations taking place. She lives with Rin and her mother.

my hands and him
Sorry I haven't been writing for a decade. I'm going to put the usual excuse on the table: there wasn't much going on. But something happened this today that's worth writing.
I didn't know I had dry skin. Before I knew that it was dry skin, an awful patch of rashes started appearing on my hands. I didn't know if it was some kind of skin allergy, but whew, it was just dry skin rash. Any moisturizer would do. Despite using the moisturizer, it's taking a long time for the rashes to disappear. I was so embarrassed that I didn't want my hands exposed in school. I usually put them in my pocket and rarely participated in class discussion. I only showed my hands when I wrote stuff on paper. To put it simply, I didn't show my hands for a while. I'm super embarrassed okay. They looked... ugh-- even I'm grossed out.
There was nothing to do and so I decided to take a walk around the neighborhood. While on the street, I realized that I used the last drop of my moisturizer. And so I went to the pharmacy to buy another tube. When I left the store, I saw bumped onto Kyo. I mean, literally bumped onto him.
"Hm? Kagura?"
"Ow. My nose. K- Kyo?"
"What the hell are you doing here?"
"Nothing! What are you doing here, Kyo?"
"I just passed by the grocery store. Tohru and Yuki are running errands. Shigure said I should cook... Even though I insist that we just order out. But no. cheap and lazy bastard... anyway, I'm heading back. So... see ya!" when he was about to run, I almost grabbed him with my hand, but I couldn't. I don't want Kyo to see them.
"WAIT!"
"Er? What?" he stopped for me? I can't believe he stopped for me!
"I'm- there's nothing to do at home. Let me come with you." Kyo grumbled.
"What's the point of saying no? You know where I'm going so there's no point stopping you, is there?"
"YEY!"
Kyo was walking so fast, I could hardly keep up with him. The sky was cloudy and it looked like it was going to rain. Ah, that may be why he's walking fast. By the time he turned his head, he stopped on the street again.
"What? You can't keep up? Do you want me to hold your hands?" he raised his eyebrow with a snob.
"No- I'm fine." I don't want Kyo to see my hands.
We continued on our way and when the pedestrian light turned green, Kyo suddenly offered me his hand. I wonder why?
"Hora! Hayaku!... oh. Crap. Did I just-- Nevermind. Let's go, Kagura-nee."
"Huh?" what was he mumbling about?
Then he finally noticed. I was wearing a hoody and I kept my hands inside my sweater's pocket. Kyo noticed and asked if I was hiding something.
"You know, I've been thinking..." no way, Kyo. "Are you hiding something? I get this feeling that you're hiding something."
"Hiding what?"
"Your hands. You're hiding something with your hands. It's not that I'm curious, it's pissing me off like... you don't care at all or you look bored while walking like that... hiding your hands or something in that sweater..."
"What about my hands?" I asked.
"Mou. Nevermind."
We were almost at Shigure-niisan's house when Kyo asked to wait. He bent and knelt down and acted like he was catching his breathe.
"I'm sorry, but can you carry this for me? My fingers are killing me." he said and he reached out the bag of groceries to me. I knew what he was up to.
"... iiyada."
"I said just hold it for me just a bit!"
"Can't you put it down while you rest your fingers? And besides, it's just a couple of meters from the house. Bear with it."
"Don't argue! Just hold it for a while! Help me carry the grocery!" he stomped his feet.
"Ah! A gentleman wouldn't do that!"
"I'm not a gentleman! Just hold it Kagura!"
"Catch me first!" I ran towards the house.
"WHAT THE HELL?!"
Shigure-nii opened the door for me and he looked tired. I guess it's his season to be working.
I was already watching the TV when entered the house. He was catching his breathe and he glared at me. I could only laugh. I changed the channel and Kyo felt ignored. Then he continued his way to the kitchen.
I could smell what he was cooking. I didn't know that he could whip up something nice. It made me hungry fast. My stomach seconded the motion when it rumbled. I wasn't paying attention at the TV anymore. It was hard. I got real hungry.
"Lunch's ready." Kyo yelled.
"I'll be right there in a minute." hollered Shigure-nii.
"Kagura, lunch is ready."
"Ok." I gasped afterwards. Kyo prepared quite a feast for three people. "Uhm... are you sure you're not hiding Tohru somewhere?"
"What? I don't care anymore, idiot. Just eat."
"Ittadakimasu!"
"... you know. It's easier if you use your hands... rather than eating like a dog."
"Then spoon feed me." I said.
"WHAT THE-- ARE YOU EIGHT? SO YOU ARE HIDING SOMETHING, HUH?"
"No. Spoon feed me, Kyo. Pretty please?"
"I cooked this up for you already and you want to be spoon fed?! You, lady, are crazy."
"I want to be spoon fed by Kyo."
"Use your hands! No no... those puppy eyes won't work."
"Tch."
"Don't Tch me, woman! You have two hands! The left and the right! Put them on the table before we fight!"
"I don't wanna."
"Let me see them!"
"NO!"
Kyo grabbed my hands and forcefully pulled them out of my pocket.
"Nani? I thought you were keeping a chocolate in there. But a moisturizer, huh? Why?"
"It's for my hands." I mumbled.
"What's wrong with them-- yikes." NO NO NO NO! This is not happening! I DON'T WANT HIM TO SEE! "If you're thinking of hiding your hands from me just because of a stupid rash, I don't see why you have to bother. I don't care how your hands look like. They're fine. So eat up." I was speechless when he said that. "W- what're you doing? Stop that. Stop blushing!"
"Iiyada... I didn't know Kyo would be so bold to forcefully grab both my hands."
"EWW!"
"OW! You didn't have to throw them away that hard!"
"THOSE RASH BETTER NOT BE CONTAGIOUS!"
Today was a good day.
