When we first meet Kagura in both the anime and manga, she's shyly watching Shigure's house from behind the gate.
She meets Tohru at the door and asks if Kyo is around.
When she's brought inside, Shigure and Yuki are surprised to see her, while Kyo is utterly terrified.
Now, why would Kyo, the one who trained in the mountains for months and never backs down from any fight,
be so unnerved as to shake in his boots at the sight of Kagura, a simple girl as his age?
Moved to tears by seeing Kyo, at first Kagura can only emotionally mutter his name. Then her eyes gleam evilly, and as she shrieks, "I wanted to see you!!" she punches Kyo so hard he flies across the room and crashes through the door. Yuki and Shigure, being used to Kagura's temper tantrums, casually duck as Kyo flies over them and Kagura follows, leaping across the room. Tohru is completely shocked by the sudden surge of violence from what seemed like such a sweet girl.
Kagura Sohma. She's 18 Kagura and is the boar of the zodiac. She has been dedicated in her love for Kyo since they were young. She is convinced that she will marry him, mainly because she threatened Kyo into proposing to her.
Despite her love, she often loses her head and beats Kyo senseless whenever he does something to anger her or make her anxious. As one of the three female members of the zodiac, she is able to hug any of the male members without any transformations taking place. She lives with Rin and her mother.

cry of the hopeful
dear diary,
I miss the time when I spent the night together with Kyo. Oh, how fate had given a chance for thee. Fate's red ribbon rekindled the light that hath soften down to a silent keep. Time has left me craving and thy thirst had not quenched a bit to thy wishful heart."Whoah." Did I write that down?
I'm still bummed out. Mou, I wish I could've stopped time during that Saturday. Seeing as how it is possible to spend a day together with Kyo-kun under one roof, it makes me haggard and restless. So I asked Rin for some company.
I'm selfish. Tell me what I don't know. But isn't it embarrassing for Rin to come and not entertain her at all? I mean, I haven't been able to talk to her properly. Believe me, somehow I just can't pull myself to talk.
This is what happens when one's thought is blinded.

the heavens calling to embrace
This is my luckiest day! I've never had experienced having to stay with Kyo all alone. I feel like we're a couple now. I feel like we're married. I feel like we're a family living in our humble house.

I have to thank Shigure, Miss Tohru and Yuki. Did they plan all of this?
Or is it fate?
I just decided to show up at random. I didn't think that there'd be an occasion or anything. The house was quiet and empty. Everyone went on their errands and I just caught Yuki leaving and locking up."I guess, I'll just be on my way then." at first, I figured that Kyo's out too. It was so quiet inside the house and Yuki was locking up.
Even I'm surprised at how things turned out.
"No, you can stay here. I think everyone will be back after lunch." he said."Where is everyone?"
There was a fillet-o-fish inside the fridge and I know Kyo loves to have them for breakfast. It's time for me to make breakfast for my love. I'm using fish for bait. Isn't it ironic?
"Miss Honda is at the hospital visiting her grandpa. But don't worry, her grandpa's all right. It was just exhaustion, I think." Oh, that's great. "And Shigure's at the Sohma Main House dealing with--"
"That broken door?" I noticed.
"Yes." Yuki gussied up. Soueba, I haven't heard of Yuki speak about Kyo. "I think I should be going now. The customers might be waiting."
"Oh, okay, I'll watch over the place then. Leave everything to me."
"Oh, I almost forgot, there's a surprise someone waiting for you upsta--"
"KYO!!" I was about to run upstairs but...
"Err... wait, Kagura-san, he's still asleep." darn it. "I'll call you sometime in the afternoon. If not, the evening. Itte kimasu."
"Itte rasshai.""Mmm... smells good." I can't believe it. My bait worked. I hid in a corner while Kyo wondered who left the stove open.
"KYOOOOO!" I jumped behind his back. I caught him off guard. He screamed like a girl, I heard.My suspicion was right when he almost fainted. He's not feeling good. I touched his forehead and he felt really warm. I didn't want to take my hand off... err, because I wanted to make sure that there's nothing wrong with his temperature.
"'Kay! GET OFF OF ME! GET OFF!"
"Yada!"
"Kagura, you really shouldn't be here. You really really shouldn't." Yeah, he still sounds shaken up. I could tell from his voice. "Kay, I'm going to lock myself in my room. And just stay here! GET AWAY!"
"Kyaaah! This is a heaven sent chance for me!" I got off of him and my imagination ran wild. I gave him a good stare.
"K- Kagura stop staring at me like that. W- wipe that smile off your face!" I didn't notice by then that Kyo looked a bit pale.
"Kyo you feel hot. Maybe you should go back to bed."I wanted to stay beside Kyo all day but he was constantly complaining and ranting about all sorts of stuff, most of them: ME. I guessed I had to go downstairs. Besides, I also remembered expecting the phone call from everyone.
"I don't have a fever, woman." he protested.
"Just go back to bed and I'll bring your breakfast there." then he changed his mind.
"Fine."
I'm not complaining though.
Tohru called around 2 in the afternoon. She told me that she'd be staying to keep watch on her grandpa. Tohru added that she'd be staying overnight. I was feeling the luck kicking in.
I went upstairs and checked on Kyo. He was sleeping like an angel. Aww. But he didn't get to taste my special lunch treatment.
I didn't dare disturbed him. Besides, he'll wake up when he's hungry and I can always reheat the food.
Around 6PM, I thought that I was running out of daytime to bond with Kyo. Ahaha, then Yuki called. Yuki said that Haru called him to stay over at Momiji's pad. Haru and Momiji needed some aid, and Yuki's going to help them on their research project for the Science fair.
"You're staying overnight, huh."When I hung up the phone, it rang for one last time.
"Yeah. Is Shigure and Miss Honda there?"
"Erm, no. Not yet. Honda-san is staying over at the hospital with her grandpa. And Shigure hasn't called yet."
"Oh, okay. I guess, you'll have to wait for Shigure then. In the mean time, we'll leave the house to you guys. Sorry about that." said Yuki.
"No, it's all right." IT'S ALLLLL RIIIIGHT.
"Moshi- moshi?"I prepared an additional porridge for dinner. It was seven and the sky was dark. It was still quiet and I was still waiting for Kyo to get down. I didn't go upstairs anymore because I don't want to disturb or agitate him because of his condition.
"Tohru?"
"No, it's Kagura."
"Oh, uhmm..." Shigure took a long pause. I think I heard him laughing a bit. "Is Tohru and Yuki there, with you?"
"No, Yuki's going to stay at Momiji's. And Miss Tohru will be watching over her grandpa for the night." then Shigure broke out his laughter.
"Ahh, gomen gomen. Oh man, I feel sorry for someone I know."
"Feel sorry for someone you know?"
"Ah erm... I mean you. I feel sorry for you, Kagura-chan. I was wondering if you can do me a favor. You see, I'm... uhh... I told Kyo that I'm here in the main house discussing about the door he broke. We're still having problems and..."
"You can't make it here tonight?"
I can clearly hear him laughing. "Yeah. I'm staying here for the night. Tell him that I'm winning their favor and they're thinking of throwing in a new TV and a new fridge. Don't ask why."
"Oh okay, I'll just tell this to Kyo that you guys called."
"Right!- ~au revoir."
In the end, I tried to put his porridge on his table and sleep downstairs. It was covered, so it wouldn't grow cold.
I knocked, "Kyo, I'm coming in." good he was awake. "Hi, Kyo. Have you heard of the news?"
