When we first meet Kagura in both the anime and manga, she's shyly watching Shigure's house from behind the gate.
She meets Tohru at the door and asks if Kyo is around.
When she's brought inside, Shigure and Yuki are surprised to see her, while Kyo is utterly terrified.
Now, why would Kyo, the one who trained in the mountains for months and never backs down from any fight,
be so unnerved as to shake in his boots at the sight of Kagura, a simple girl as his age?
Moved to tears by seeing Kyo, at first Kagura can only emotionally mutter his name. Then her eyes gleam evilly, and as she shrieks, "I wanted to see you!!" she punches Kyo so hard he flies across the room and crashes through the door. Yuki and Shigure, being used to Kagura's temper tantrums, casually duck as Kyo flies over them and Kagura follows, leaping across the room. Tohru is completely shocked by the sudden surge of violence from what seemed like such a sweet girl.
Kagura Sohma. She's 18 Kagura and is the boar of the zodiac. She has been dedicated in her love for Kyo since they were young. She is convinced that she will marry him, mainly because she threatened Kyo into proposing to her.
Despite her love, she often loses her head and beats Kyo senseless whenever he does something to anger her or make her anxious. As one of the three female members of the zodiac, she is able to hug any of the male members without any transformations taking place. She lives with Rin and her mother.

Mom asked me to go buy a couple of things in the grocery. Mou, asking me stuff on my day- off, it's typical for any parent."Be careful, Kagura. I don't want you trans--"
Good thing I wasn't alone in the grocery while I was browsing. I saw Haru-kun and Momiji shopping too. It's lunch time. I guess they decided to buy grub here instead of waging war in the cafeteria. Oh yeah, duh... there's a lot of people in the cafeteria and they dare not to snake their way through the line.
"Don't worry, Okaa-san. I've done this a million times already."
"A one in a million chance doesn't sound impossible, Kagura." I knew what Mom meant.
Wait... is this how they spend their lunch everyday?"Kagura-neechan!" Momiji waved at me.
Haru looked over his shoulder. I wondered.
"Momiji, can you handle these to the cashier while I talk to Kagura-neechan for a bit." And Haru.
"O-kane?" he asked Haru.
"Crap. I forgot my wallet in my locker."
"Dame!" said Momiji.
"Just hurry up! We're going to be late." Momiji sighed and hopped along to the cashier."Nan desu ka?"
"Kagura-neechan, is Rin going to stay over at your house tonight?"
"Why'd you ask?"
"I wonder if you can do me a simple favor." he looked down.
"As long as it's simple."
"Oh, don't worry it is. So... is she going to stay over?"
"I think so. I think Rin decided to sleep over at our house every Friday night, because her last subject that day is way late. So she stays at our house, instead of taking the long travel to Kazuma-dono's dojo." she seems like she's really having a hard time at school.
"What's her last subject anyway?"
"I'm not sure, but it's an evening class."
"So tomorrow's a go then?" Haru had to put up a face that I couldn't refuse. I tried to say no, but I nodded. "Do you still have your digital camera with you?" I raised my eyebrow. I had no idea what he wanted.
"M'kay! I'm all done, come on, Haru! There's five minutes left!" Momiji zoomed out of the shop along with Haru's lunch.
"HEY! Get back here! Sorry we have to go, Kagura-neechan!"
"Don't worry, I'll take care of everything." I'm really not sure what he wanted, but I have an idea.
